We went to the Dallas show today to observe and help with the Cavalier “Meet the Breed” booth sponsored by the Dallas Fort Worth Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club.

Today, Kaitlyn and I went to the DFWCKCSC Holiday social at Fireside Pies. We helped out by putting bows and costumes on all the dogs. It was such fun! I also got to meet up with a dear and young old friend and fellow Cavalier owner, Elizabet, her charming new fiance, Robert, and their sweet dog, Avery.

Today, the whole family went out to Pinecrest Cavaliers for the Cavaliers of the Midwest 2009 Fun Match. We brought Anne, Darcy and Knightley to have their eyes and patellas checked and enjoyed the beautiful day at the beautiful home of Ted and Mary Grace Eubank. Seeing their dogs was an incredible experience. I was floored. Some day I hope to have dogs that beautiful.

Today Anne Shirley and Darcy went to the Cavalier Fun Match. This is an event held by the DFW Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club. We had a blast! There were treats, and pretty dogs, and treats, and shows, and treats, and classes, and treats, and booths. And treats.

Did I mention the treats?

Today the puppies used a little teamwork and escaped their pen. So we had to do a little retrofit. Maybe this will hold ’em off another week.
